AUF1 presents plague-exercise compilation
Oct 9
Pollak presents what AUF1 calls an extensive investigation compiling at least 51 plague simulations or exercises worldwide: 22 pneumonic-plague scenarios and 29 other plague scenarios. AUF1 says more than thirty involved the United States and thirteen took place in China. It cites a Munich scenario in 2009, a Swiss exercise in 2016 attributed to the French Foundation for Strategic Research and a UN institute, and Interpol's 2007 Black Death exercise in France with representatives of ten countries and five organizations including WHO. It also says an underlying overview documented at least 21 vaccines by 2024, including mRNA and self-amplifying mRNA approaches. These figures and historical examples are AUF1's compilation claims; the broadcast does not establish that any exercise caused the current suspected Russian illness.
In its October 9 broadcast, AUF1 presents an investigation counting at least 51 plague exercises or simulations, including 22 pneumonic-plague and 29 other scenarios, and reports geographic totals and historical examples. It also cites an overview documenting at least 21 vaccines by 2024, including mRNA approaches. These are the broadcaster's compilation claims; the presentation establishes no causal link to the suspected Siberian case or new exercise on the broadcast day.
